HARARE – MILK production rose by 9% to 10.6 million litres in January 2026 up from 9.76 million litres recorded in the same month last year, official data shows.
During the review period, milk processors increased their intake by 10% reaching 9.81 million litres compared to 8.9 million litres in January 2025.
However, retail milk output declined by 9% falling from 863,017 litres in January 2024 to 785,113 litres in January 2026.
